The Inflection publishes liberal ideas from both the left and the right.

Not liberal in the American partisan sense, but liberal in the broader tradition of the word. The Inflection stands for open markets, open inquiry, individual rights, and institutions that earn their authority rather than assume it. Those commitments have never belonged to a single political party, and right now, no party is doing much to defend them.

An inflection point is where a curve changes direction. We take our name from the moment we are in: politics is at an inflection point. The settlement that held for a generation is coming apart, and what replaces it remains unsettled. We write for those who intend to have a say in what comes next.
